Back to School - Vuelta al Cole!!

Yep , after a couple years doing Home Schooling the girls are back to school and also us ;-)
We meet a nice family here on Wickford and they encourage to send the girls to school.
And now Pilar is on Hamilton Elemetary and Josefina on North Kingstown High School, both are very happy to have friends and enjoying the everyday activities.
For us parents the thing is not so nice, we need to wake up everyday at 6AM and go ashore on the dingy then move the girls to school and back.
Josefina enter at 7,15AM up to 2PM and Pilar is go from 9AM to 3,30PM.
Schools are fantastic and have good teachers and a lot of kids.
NKHS is one of the biggest school on USA with around 1600 students, the system is more like a University than a regular Argentinian School and that gonna be a great experience for Josefina.
Pilar have a teacher who help her to learn to write and read in English (something very helpful for her)
We found a crap car who was not run for one year and buy it for very cheap, I repair the Fuel pump and some electric problems but run only for a few days and die again.
Now I am trying to fix the ignition system who is not working , hope to fix it some of this days.\
In the mean time Flor and I gonna finish a lot of things on YPAKE, we use this time to keep the boat in good shape.
We meet the Salzarulos and with Daniel are our best friends around here.
Hope to find a cheap marina where to spent the winter on wickford soon, the winter is very cold here and is not good idea to go ashore on the dingy with snow and ice :-(
Girls keep doing the home schooling from Argentina also and that is not easy for the mother.
Well I continue other day.

Y si , después de un par de años con el SEAD estudiando en el barco, las chicas volvieron al colegio y de paso nosotros ;-)
Conocimos unas familias con chicos acá en Wickford y nos dieron manija de por que no enviábamos a las chicas al cole un tiempo.
Ahora Pilar esta yendo al Hamilton Elemetary en 5 grado que es el ultimo de Elementary y Josefina al North Kingstown High School en 9 o sea el primer año del High School.
Las dos están recontentas de tener compañeros nuevamente y disfrutando las actividades diarias.
Para nosotros los padres no es tan fácil, empezamos con horarios nuevamente y nos tenemos que levantar a las 6 de la matina cada dia, subir al bote , bajar en la playa y después llevarlas al cole.
Josefina entra a las 7,15 AM hasta las 2 de la tarde y Pilar de 9,30 AM a 3,30 PM
Los colegios están bárbaros , tienen buenos maestros y un montón de chicos.
NKHS es uno de los colegios secundarios mas grandes de USA , tiene cerca de 1600 alumnos, es mas como una universidad que un secundario normal de argentina y es una experiencia barbara para Josefina.
Pilar tiene una maestra que le enseña a leer y escribir solo a ella, lo que la ayuda muchisimo.
Encontramos un auto abandonado en el barrio y se lo compramos a la dueña por casi nada, lo arregle pero andubo solo unos dias y se murio de nuevo, ahora lo mandamos a un taller ya que la computadora me gano :-(((
Entre tanto Flor y yo trataremos de terminar el barco , los interiores y un montón de detalles que faltan abordo.
Conocimos a la familia Salzarulo que son remacanudos ademas de Dani son nuestros mejores amigos acá.
Ahora estamos en campaña de encontrar una marina barata para invernar , se nos viene el frio encima y por aca es aspero.
La chicas continuan haciendo el SEAD asi no pierden años en el sistema argentino y eso no es facil para la madre que las tiene que perseguir.
Nos preguntan si no quedamos acá definitivamente.......................................

Esta bueno pero no todo lo que brilla es oro y no hay como casa para estar fijo.
No se preocupen que ya vamos a volver, solo un tiempito mas.
La seguimos otro día.
